I Made Yarn! With My Own Two Hands

 I've spun yarn on a drop spindle before, but it's been about 8+ years.  I found it slow, hard to control the spin, and anything that you could do wrong with a drop spindle, I probably found a way to do it worse.

I bought a kick spindle

I needed to try my hand at handspun yarn again. I had to, I just really want to go from fiber to finished object. So I bought a kick spindle because I knew they were a bit faster than a drop spindle, yet more budget friendly than a true spinning wheel. Let's go on a TikTok journey towards my first full hank of yarn to caking it up. 

First up, here's the spindle I purchased.
